Medicare Rebates

Speech Pathologists are recognised by Medicare as health care providers that can form part of a larger multidisciplinary team that manages clients with chronic and complex health needs. 

If you are living with a chronic medical condition, Medicare benefits may be accessible to support speech pathology services aimed at managing your condition. Your general practitioner (GP) can evaluate your eligibility for rebates within this program and provide you with the required documentation to bring to your appointment with us.

Through this program, you can receive a partial rebate ($60.35 as of July 2024) for a maximum of five sessions per year.
