Emily Woodhouse

Emily became a certified Speech Language Pathologist in 2018, graduating from The Australian Catholic University. 

Emily has several years experience across a range of settings including schools, private practice, hospitals and nursing homes. Emily is dedicated to empowering her clients through a client-centred and holistic approach, prioritising their unique needs and goals while ensuring everyone involved understands and participates in the therapeutic process. 

Emily has worked with people of all ages with a range of difficulties including speech sounds, language and literacy disorders, stuttering and swallowing difficulties.  Emily has experience working with children and adults with Motor Speech Disorders, Developmental Language Disorders (DLD), Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD),  Developmental Delays (DD), Intellectual Disability (ID) and Attention disorders as well as people who are neurodivergent.   

Emily is particularly passionate about all things paediatric: speech disorders, feeding therapy and adult communication. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, looking at all things fashion and personal development in niche areas such as Lactation consultancy.
